Kim Phillips

Kim grew up in Boise, Idaho and moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2004 in order to pursue a Master's degree in Journalism at the University of Colorado. During her time at school, she has studied many aspects of media and photography. She hopes to put her education to good use as a photojournalist, allowing her to capture people's emotions and document different perspectives on a day-to-day basis. Wedding photography has been a perfect fit as it allows her to create candid, artistic images of people and families on a day they'll remember forever.

Kim has also lived in Italy where she studied fashion photography at the Lorenzo de' Medici School. In 2003, she interned with the Aperture Foundation's photography journal in New York, which confirmed her desire to become involved in the world of photography.
